Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01 — Fly to Olgii & Drive to Tavan Bogd Ranger Station
Morning flight from Ulaanbaatar to Olgii (tickets included).Arrive in Olgii, explore the small town, and enjoy brunch at a halal Turkish restaurant.
Drive 5–6 hours west to the Tavan Bogd Ranger Station (3,000m altitude), crossing mountain ranges and rivers.
Arrive and stay overnight in gers.

Day 02 — Horse Ride to Tavan Bogd Base Camp
Breakfast at camp, then begin horse riding with camels carrying gear.
Ride 5–6 hours to Tavan Bogd Base Camp among pristine alpine lakes fed by sacred snowmelt.
Explore the Potanian Glacier and surrounding scenery.
Set up tents and overnight at camp.

Day 03 — Climb Malchin Peak
Climb Malchin Peak (4,000m) and enjoy panoramic mountain views.
Descend to Base Camp and overnight again in tents.

Day 04 — Ride Back to Ranger Station
Ride horses back from Base Camp to the Ranger Station.
Arrive and stay overnight in gers.

Day 05 — Trek Toward Dakilbay (Death) Pass
Begin trekking from Ranger Station toward Bear Valley via Dakilbay Pass (also called Death Pass), the only gateway linking the mountain zone to the lake region.
Overnight at Khar Ayrag Valley in tents.

Day 06 — Cross Death Pass to Bear Valley
Continue trekking and cross the Death Pass today.
Visit Heart Lake and continue into Bear Valley.

Day 07 — Trek to Uyshik
Continue trekking deeper through Aksu Valley.
Arrive in Uyshik and overnight in tents.

Day 08 — Trek to Lower Aksu Valley
Continue trekking down the valley toward its end point.
Overnight in tents.

Day 09 — Trek to the 3 Rivers Junction
Continue trekking to the junction of three river systems.

Day 10 — Drive to Khairakhti: Rock Art, Lakes & Nomadic Family
Drive to Khairakhti Valley to see ancient rock art and archaeological sites.
Swim in the lakes and continue toward a Kazakh nomadic camp.
Meet the eagle hunter and enjoy a traditional “five fingers” feast ceremony.
Overnight in yurts.

Day 11 — Waterfall Hike & Eagle Hunting Experience
Hike to Baga Turgen Waterfall.
Experience real golden eagle hunting and take photos in traditional clothing.
Return to the yurt camp for showers and rest.

Day 12 — Return to Olgii (Tuvan Throat Singing)
Drive back to Olgii, stopping in Tsengel to enjoy Tuvan throat singing.
Arrive in Olgii for hotel stay and Kazakh family concert.

Day 13 — Fly Back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, fly out of Olgii to UB.

FAQs
I don't know how to ride horses. Can I do this tour?
Yes. Many of our guests are first timers on a horse. We provide easy to ride horses for you. At the start of the tour we have practice sessions and training. At all times you ll be accompanied by a wrangler.
Are there any additional costs?
No, There are no extra costs. We cover everything in the itinerary including meals, transportation, entertainment fees.
