Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01 — Drive to Darkhid Valley & Begin Horse Trek
Morning pickup from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
Drive to Darkhid Valley to meet the horse team and wranglers.
Receive instructions, get assigned to your horses, and begin the trek.
Enjoy a half-day ride, crossing the Terelj River.
Overnight camping in tents beside the river.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner provided
Day 02 — Ride Through Valleys & Open Meadows
Continue riding deeper into Terelj, crossing rivers & traversing side valleys.
Reach open meadows surrounded by forested hills and peaceful nature.
Set up camp and relax by the riverside.
Overnight in tents.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner provided
Day 03 — Trek to Zuun Bayangol Valley
Ride onward to the Zuun Bayangol Valley.
Encounter nomadic families and livestock herds along the trail.
Camp alongside the river in a scenic side valley surrounded by nature.
Overnight in tents.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner provided
Day 04 — Side Valley Ride & Return to Camp
Ride into surrounding side valleys to explore mountain views & forest landscapes.
Leave packhorses and logistics behind for the day ride.
Return to the same campsite for the night.

Day 05 — Ride to Khan Khentii & Return to Ulaanbaatar
Ride toward the Khan Khentii mountain area
This is known for dramatic rock formations.
Meet your driver and transfer back to Ulaanbaatar.
