Day by Day Itinerary
Experience Mongolia’s iconic landscapes on a short journey from Ulaanbaatar. This carefully designed itinerary blends open steppe, horseback riding, national parks, cultural landmarks, and quiet moments in nature. Travel at a relaxed pace. Stay in comfortable private gers.

Day 01 — Visit Chinggis Khan Statue complex and head to Terelj National Park
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Leaving the city behind, drive east across vast open steppe.
Arrive at the monumental Chinggis Khan Statue Complex. This is the world’s largest equestrian statue. Explore at your own pace and climb to the panoramic viewpoint for sweeping views. This is a powerful introduction to Mongolia’s history and scale.
Continue onward to Terelj National Park - a striking alpine region known for dramatic granite formations, river valleys, and forested hills. Settle into a private ger with modern indoor bathroom facilities. Spend the evening relaxing in nature as the light softens across the mountains.

Day 02 — Explore Terelj National Park, Ride Horse & drive to Hustai National Park
Begin the day with a gentle hike to Aryabal Meditation Temple, set high above the valley. The walk is peaceful offering quiet moments and scenic views. Continue to Turtle Rock, shaped by centuries of wind and weather.
Later, experience traditional horse riding through the park’s open valleys and grasslands. The ride lasts approximately one to two hours and is suitable for beginners. You get an authentic yet comfortable introduction to nomadic life.
In the afternoon, we drive west toward Hustai National Park. This protected area is renowned for endangered Przewalski’s horse, known locally as the Takhi.
Check in to your private ger, again with indoor bathroom facilities. Enjoy a quiet evening under wide skies in the Mongolian steppe.

Day 03 — Explore Hustai National Park. Return Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, explore Hustai National Park on foot with light walking and wildlife viewing.
The open steppe and low hills create ideal conditions for observing Takhi horses in their natural habitat. You'll can also see other wildlife such as deer, marmots, and steppe birds. The experience is unhurried, and deeply connected to the landscape.
Later we begin the return drive to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in the city in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

FAQs
I have not ridden horses before? Can I ride in Mongolia?
Yes. We select horses suitable for your riding experience. You don't need any prior riding experience. If you have never ridden before our horse wrangler will guide your horse as well. Many of our guests have never ridden horses before. They loved the experience of riding in the open steppes.
Are there any additional costs?
No, There are no extra costs. We cover everything in the itinerary including meals, transportation, entertainment fees.
