Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01 — Chinggis Khan Statue & Meet the Horses
Picked up from your hotel or from the airport in the morning.
Drive to the Chinggis Khan Statue and explore the site.
Continue to Darkhid Valley to meet the horse and wrangler team.
Get assigned to your horses, receive instructions, and do a practice ride.
Stay overnight in a ger.
Day 02 — Ride Into Khan Khentii Meadows
Begin the journey on horseback.
Cross several rivers and ride through side valleys.
Reach the open meadows of the Khan Khentii mountains.
Overnight in tents.
Day 03 — Ride to Zuun Bayangol Valley
Continue riding deeper into the region.
Reach Zuun Bayangol Valley.
Meet Mongolian herders, livestock, and nomadic families.
Camp beside the river in a quiet side valley.
Day 04 — Side Valley Exploration Ride
Leave pack horses and logistics team at camp.
Do a day ride into a beautiful side valley for exploration.
Return to the same campsite in the evening.
Overnight in tents at the same spot.
Day 05 — Enter Khan Khentii National Park Region
Ride toward the Khan Khentii National Park area.
Scenic rock formations and forested landscapes begin to appear.
Camp on open grassland.
Overnight in tents.
Day 06 — Ride to Baruun Bayangol Valley & Tuul River
Ride through a long valley into Baruun Bayangol.
Continue toward the Tuul River.
Camp on open meadow near the river. Overnight in tents.
Day 07 — Pass Crossings Along the Tuul River
Ride along the Tuul River.
Cross two mountain passes on the way to tonight’s campsite.
Camp beside the river.Overnight in tents.
Day 08 — Final Morning Ride & Return to Ulaanbaatar
Final half-day of riding until noon.
Meet the driver and return to Ulaanbaatar.
End of the tour.
