Day 01 — Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Welcome to Mongolia. We will pick you up from the airport and drive you to the Kempinskii Hotel. After checking in, enjoy a performance by the Tumen Enkh ensemble, a traditional Mongolian concert.

Day 02 — Explore the Hustai National Park
Drive west through the open steppe for approximately 2.5 hours to Hustai National Park. This park is famous for the Przewalski’s wild horses (takhi). Enjoy short nature walks and wildlife spotting before watching the sunset over the rolling hills.
Accommodation: Deluxe eco-ger camp with private bathroom

Day 03 — Hustai to Karakorum
Take a 5-hour scenic drive to Karakorum, the ancient capital. You will visit the Karakorum Museum and explore the historic Erdene Zuu Monastery. Children can enjoy feeding friendly local animals found around the monastery area.

Day 04 — Karakorum to Orkhon Valley
Enter the Orkhon River Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit a nomadic yak-herding family to learn about traditional dairy products and felt making. Optional gentle horse riding is available for both children and adults.

Day 05 — Orkhon Valley Nature & Culture
Spend a day immersed in the nature of the valley. Take an easy hike or drive to the Orkhon Waterfall for a picnic near the river and cliffs. Engage in family cultural activities at the camp or take free time to relax.

Day 06 — Visit Elsen Tasarkhai (Mini Gobi)
Drive 3 hours to see the landscape transition from steppe to sand dunes. Experience camel riding on the dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai and walk among the sand hills and nearby river oasis.

Day 07 — Explore Terelj National Park
A 5–6 hour drive brings you to the granite rock formations and pine forests of Terelj National Park. Visit the famous Turtle Rock and the Aryabal Meditation Temple. The area offers easy scenic hikes suitable for families.

Day 08 — Drive back to Ulaanbaatar via Chinggis Khan Statue
Visit the Chinggis Khan Giant Statue Complex. After a stop for souvenir shopping, return to Ulaanbaatar and check back into your hotel.

Day 09 — Departure
After breakfast, we will drive you from the hotel to the airport for your flight home.

I have not ridden horses before? Can I ride in Mongolia?
Yes. We select horses suitable for your riding experience. You don't need any prior riding experience. If you have never ridden before our horse wrangler will guide your horse as well. Many of our guests have never ridden horses before. They loved the experience of riding in the open steppes.
Are there any additional costs?
No, There are no extra costs. We cover everything in the itinerary including meals, transportation, entertainment fees.
